  • I’m a Hovis

You all are talking about my family. I’ve never heard these to be true. Been there for years on Memorial Day and other days since. These might be “ghost stories”. But please don’t desecrate the cemetery. We go there to respect our ancestors.

  • Don’t do it!

This was around 2012 and five of us went to see “Hovis” however we never found him. We did instead find a strange blue glowing orb that at first we thought was a flashlight, until it move towards us and then upon running away the orb rose into the sky some 20 feet. I cant explain it and I’m never going to return. Dont go.. we had to leave the vehicles down the road and walk

Was here at Moore Hill Cemetery the other night. No private property signs or no trespassing signs. Did not see or hear anything. Couldn't find the "Hovis" grave that suppose to be haunted by the man that killed his wife. But it sure is a very creepy place. We are avid ghost hunters that explore many places and cemeteries. And we do plan on returning to this one to do more in depth hunting.

I have been there. It wasn't blocked and there were no private property signs. I was looking for Mr. Hovis the man that killed his wife ,found it once before but couldn't this time. .However I did see in the little field that was there ghosts having a little picnic. There was a woman and husband I believe with 2 kids playing .I did not feel scared it was a sweet ghostly picture. .hopefully I can find Mr.Hovis the next time...the trees there are a little creepy though

This cemetery was on our list to visit today as well. Ended up driving all the way out to it, for it to be locked up with a sign stating that it was private property, no trespassing... Disappointed. Definitely not open to the public. We aren't the types to just climb the gate anyways and possibly get arrested. Lol
