This historic site now operates as an Army National Guard Station and training center, and it's believed to be haunted. The location has been used for a number of films, including A Soldier’s Story in 1984, Biloxi Blues in 1988, and The Tuskegee Airmen in 1995. Witnesses say that at this battlefield during the middle of the night, musket fire has been heard, along with the apparitions of soldiers from the Battle of Pea Ridge.
